I am starting to get pretty good at . I just wrote a script to run GoAccess on my VPS from a local computer, then copy that from the VPS to a file on my computer here. How cool. I know that is probably just some silly thing that all bash experts know how to do, but I impressed myself, and that's all that matter.

@herag Have been using bash scripts since 1992, well worth knowing about. Incremental improvements over the years, then the big change of (1) bashrc on each individual computer points to a file in (2) a file synced by NextCloud which (3) means I edit the pointed-to file once and the bash-script behavior of all my computers follow suit.

Main use is long strings of flags in youtube-dl reduced to a few characters. "Get all the audio from this playlist and store it here" sort of things.
