Look through this and find the article "First Principles".
This article is a fantastic representation of how I [mostly] think of #anarchism in my own #philosophy.
The other articles are good too, but that is one to read if nothing else.
This week we will read Against Intellectual Property by Stephen Kinsella
Get your copy here:

By far, this is one of the best arguments I have read against IP, written by a Copyright Lawyer who actively promotes Copyleft.
I hope you enjoy and tell me what you think!
Just dropped episode 12 of #AnarchoBookClub.
Today we discuss Eidolons by Walt Whitman... sort of. Basically I begin that way and go on a little rant about #anarchism.
Hope you enjoy it. Also update the site a little and linked in every episode to the artist I use for my intro/outro music #kaiengel.
Part of being an #anarchist is learning a few ways to cut your reliance on big corporations and big govts.
One way to do that is by growing some of your own food. Or all of it!
Even if you live in a tiny apartment, you can find ways to grow things to enhance your life and control what you put in your body.
The sect of #anarchism that seems to seek this goal is the #agorist sect. I have been hard pressed to find good resources from them.
Wanna send me some links?
This day in #anarchism:
December 21, 1919
Emma Goldman and 248 other anarchists were deported to Soviet Russia for their demonstrations against govt violence and the violence of the corporate powers against the working class.
Let's celebrate her fight against the powers.
So it has been a while since I've been able to sit down and record a new episode of #AnarchoBookClub , but I got my schedule for my new job and in a couple of weeks, i should have time to record at least once a week.
Don't forget to read On Anarchism by Chomsky!
Who wants to help me with artwork for #AnarchoBookClub ?
I like the simple stuff I made, but I would love to feature a more diverse set of artwork for the different authors and even for the Club itself.
If you want to contribute, feel free to post your designs on https://lemmy.ml/c/anarchobookclub
Ooooor, you can send them to me here, directly, but I'd like to see artwork on the community page.

That's the link to subscribe to my podcast, if you haven't already.
Today I just released an episode about The Conquest of Bread by Petr Kropotkin.
Are You An #Anarchist?
David Graeber has been an essential proponent of #anarchism around the world. He has written volume after volume about antifa, anarchy, and social issues facing the world today.
He wrote a small piece that is posted on #TheAnarchistLibrary outlining a few basic principles of anarchy to help the layman understand that most humans are anarchists whether they know it or not.
Check it out!
I enjoy the content of https://theanarchistlibrary.org
However, their rejection of #anarchists such as Samuel Edward Konkin III is a little troubling and naive, in my opinion. They reject, out if hand, anything that does not favor their specific flavor of #anarchism. It points to a deeper issue of segmentation and division in an ideological movement.
So there is another site to find his works(for free), https://Agorism.info
I will eventually get his works up on https://anarchobook.club
Emma Goldman was a North American #anarchist born in what is now called Lithuania. She was an activist for workers' rights and a unionist. She was known for her speeches and pamphlets.
It can be argued that she did more for #feminism and #anarchism than any of her contemporaries. She is a rockstar of the North American anarchist movement and workers' movement.
David Graeber
Rest In Peace and Power
This article https://www.jacobinmag.com/2020/09/david-graeber-obituary-judaism describes better how I knew of Dr. Graeber and how I respected his work.
Marxism does not generally appeal to me, but the sociopolitical commentary of Graeber and the anarcho-left holds great value to me. Graeber was a hero of the people and a heroic philosopher.
His work in this world will be remembered.

This gives a pretty objective look at #anarchism I think. A little heavy on property rights, but I think that is inherent in most of #anarchist thought.
