People will self-identify as part of groups, and other people will view people as part of groups. But I say it is important to understand people first as individuals.
Is this person a member of the Church of the SubGenius? Then they are an inherently superior person.
Is this person not a member of the Church of the SubGenius? Then they are reprehensible.
