board as we compute & review the outcomes of… polls”.
*But*, #OSI said at orientation that only seated Directors, not candidates, must sign this agreement.
Can anyone explain why OSI
now asks both winning & losing candidates to sign this urgently?

As time went on, Descent stands out for an even better reason: as one of the earliest games to go #opensource (though not Free Software, technically)
The engines have since been active community projects, providing a lot of quality of life features, optional bug fixes, and working with modern PCs, controllers and network protocols like UDP (as opposed to serial modem and IPX...)

"Syncthing" is a game-changing open source tool for managing files between devices without any cloud servers or third parties. Perfect for PDFs I don't want in the cloud!
My simple setup:
• Phone → Syncthing → Computer
• One-way sync (deletions stay on computer)
• Background sync via WiFi
The workflow: download PDF to phone → appears on computer → delete from phone.

Qualcuno conosce qualche associazione o qualcosa di simile sul territorio milanese? La mia scuola dovrebbe smaltire dei computer che non sono neanche tanto vecchiotti. Ovviamente ritiro gratuito.

The rise of Gimp 3
Big kudos to the #Gimp team!
I've just tested out the brand new version 3 and the most wanted feature, non-destructive-editig, just blew my mind!
I haven't realized that now, everything that is based on GEGL is editable, it is just amazing, this goes beyond what I expected as non-destructive-editing.
There are still plenty of room for improvements though , I hope in the future they will add a layer mask for each effect and the opacity channel to determine the amount of the intensity.
Nevertheless this result by itself it is just amazing and superior to other commercials solution even in its infantry!
This will boost my workflow cause now I can modify colors on my images without degrading the original ones and exporting the working file as jpeg-xl, this is already a pro level!
